Being a therapist

For me, being a therapist is asignificant responsibility It involves working directly with people's wounds, with your emotions, thoughts and behaviors to help them overcome difficulties, find your way, understand yourself better and achieve emotional well-being

Although I live this profession with a lot of respect and responsibility, I am not responsible for

I refuse in my work to force change and work harder than the users I serve or to take responsibility for their improvement and growth., I try to empower people again with their abilities and that same responsibility for their lives and their choices.. Las

people know how to do much more than what they do. Often what they do is what they have done for a long time, behaviors that at some point in their life have been functional and adaptive.

For me, An effective therapist is someone who knows how to listen with genuine attention and relational curiosity to what people tell them.; and that helps repair links that have been damaged over time. The link is the most important thing

The effective therapist helps create restorative moments.

Behind each person's therapeutic style is who each person is.. We therapists can also suffer from symptoms, suffer disorders, have psychological wounds, drag pending accounts and carry heavy transgenerational burdens on our shoulders.

Good therapies are those where the full expression of humanity is allowed.: the crying, Yeah, but also laughter; it makes her desperate-

tion, Of course, but also hope. They conclude, As Whitaker says,

turning the person into their own therapist; that is to say, helping you take charge of your own existence again.
